Summer Housing Registration Information (2026)

Summer Housing is available for Lehigh students who are taking summer courses or who are committed to spending an extended amount of time working on Lehigh's campus over the two available summer semesters.  We are not able to accommodate daily check ins/outs or short term stays. Residence hall housing during the summer sessions may be leased by any current undergraduate level student who is registered for classes or working on or near campus, or any matriculating student who is registered for classes.

Summer housing will be provided in the Singleton and Hitch Houses. The majority of summer session housing will be 1 space in a double bedroom within a 4-person suite. Roommate & suitemate requests will be honored so long as both students have signed a housing contract and have a a mutual request to room with each other on that contract.

Summer Housing can be contracted for any dates between May 24th and August 16th. If you will not be in housing for the entirety of session I, II, or both sessions, you will be charged the daily rate from your first date of check in through your last date of check out. 

The Summer Housing Application will open in April. Students will receive an email with the details about how to sign up.

Meal Plan

A summer meal plan is required for all students living in summer housing. Students will be able to select from two different meal plans. All of these meal plan options will include Dining Dollars which can be used at open dining locations across campus. If you will not be participating in a meal plan for the entirety of session I, II, or both sessions, you will be charged the daily rate from your first date of sign-up through your last date.

Swipes DO NOT roll over week-to-week. Each week begins on Friday and ends the following Thursday. Summer Session II dining dollars will roll over to your Fall 2026 meal plan, if enrolled. If not enrolled in a Fall 2026 meal plan, dining dollars and meal swipes will expire on the last day of your plan for that session.

MicroFridges are available for rental during both summer sessions. To reserve your MicroFridge for the summer, please contact MicroFridge once you have received your housing assignment in May.

Terms of Lease

The Residence Hall Summer Housing Contract is a binding agreement to reside in and be financially responsible for both residence hall housing and the summer meal plan through the close of the session(s) for which housing has been contracted.


Reservation 

In order to reserve your space or sign up for a meal plan if living off campus, please see below:

  • Lehigh Students (apply via the Housing Portal)
  • Non Lehigh students (must contact your Lehigh Sponsor to receive your LIN & Email Address. Once you have those, you can contact Housing Services for next steps.)
  • Summer Meal Plan only (available to sign up starting May 12th)
