Bedroom Furnishings

Each bedroom comes with a set of furniture per student, which includes a bed, desk, desk chair, dresser drawers, and wardrobe/built-in closet.
Furniture is placed in rooms based on the number of students living there.
Bedroom Furniture Specifics
Across all University Housing, there are several styles of furniture used in different Residence Halls depending on when they were built or have needed to be replaced. On the page for each building, you can find specific information about special furniture arrangements or built-ins in different rooms. Each room is set up with the furniture arrangement that fits best in that space and is equitable to each resident. Housing Services cannot take requests to remove furniture or swap one piece out for another. All furniture present in the room when the student moves in must remain in the room.
Bed Information
The metal frame that the mattress rests on can be set so that the underbed height is either 14" or 22".
All University beds can be bunked. Students choosing to bunk their University beds must do so using University issued bunking pins. Bunking pins are available upon request on opening day and throughout the year at the Office of Housing Services. Bed rails are required for students who choose to bunk their University-issued beds. Bedrails will be delivered shortly after bunking pins are issued.
Beds may only be lifted off the ground by bed risers. One set of bed risers is permitted per bed but cannot be used in conjunction with bunk beds. Bed risers are not provided by the University.
