The Community Room at Saucon Village

Usage Guidelines

The Saucon Village Community Room is available at no charge and can be reserved by Lehigh students that live in Saucon Village. The Community Room is located in Bldg. 8, apartment 121. There is a sitting room, dining room with a kitchenette, television, and tables/chairs. The room may be used any day.  All events must end by 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday.  Events on Friday and Saturday must end by 12am-midnight.

Loud noises and music are not permitted at any time as per the Saucon Village Quiet Hours Policy.

The Community Room is open for use during 24 Hour Quiet Hours during finals week each semester. However, students are required to keep a low volume and observe all quiet hours guidelines. Noise disturbance will result in a lease violation on the person who made the reservation.

Reservations

Reservations are done online as a first come, first serve basis. Residents should look at the calendar below to check availability before submitting a request. All requests must be made 48 hours in advance. Requests are not guaranteed until the Office of Housing Services (inhouse@lehigh.edu) confirms the event via email. Access to the Community Room will be placed on the student's Lehigh ID card. The Office of Housing Services requests that students are mindful of the fact that this is a shared space and asks that you do not reserve multiple days in a row during holidays.

If you are a non-student resident and would like to request the space, please emailing Housing Services before filling out the application to obtain your ID Number for card access.
