Summer Housing Registration Information
Summer
Housing is available to any current undergraduate student who is registered for classes or working on or near campus. Graduate students and non-Lehigh students in need of housing exclusively over the summer should reach out to Conference Services.
The Summer Housing Application will open on April 13th at 12:00 AM EST and is due by May 1st at 11:30 PM EST. Students will receive an email with the details about how to sign up in the Housing & Dining Portal. The Application is available under "App & Forms", "Summer 2026 Housing Contract".
Students living off-campus over the summer who wish to sign-up for a meal plan only should email Housing Services with your request.
Location and Availability
Summer housing will be provided in Singleton House and Hitch House. The majority of summer session housing will be in a double bedroom within a 4-person suite. Roommate & suitemate requests will be honored so long as both students have properly completed the roommate matching part of the contract.
Summer Housing can be contracted for any dates between May 24th and August 16th. If you will not be in housing for the entirety of session I, session II, or both sessions, you will be charged the daily rate from your first date of check in through your last date of check out. If you need housing between closing on May 14th and the start of Summer Housing on May 24th, please select "Transition Housing" on your application.

Terms of Lease
The Residence Hall Summer Housing Contract is a binding agreement to reside in and be financially responsible for both residence hall housing and the summer meal plan through the close of the session(s) for which housing has been contracted. Residents of Summer Housing agree to abide by all policies and regulations outlined in the Residence Hall General Provisions for Student Occupancy and Student Handbook.
Meal Plan Requirement
A summer meal plan is required for all students living in summer housing. Students will be able to select from two different meal plans. All of these meal plan options will include Dining Dollars which can be used at open dining locations across campus. If you will not be participating in a meal plan for the entirety of session I, II, or both sessions, you will be charged the daily rate from your first date of sign-up through your last date.
Summer Session I Meal Plan: May 26 (Breakfast) to July 4 (Lunch)
Summer Session II Meal Plan: July 6 (Breakfast) to August 15 (Lunch)
All meals will be served in the University Center (there will be a temporary all-you-care-to-eat setup there) due to HVAC work being completed in Rathbone throughout the summer.

Swipes DO NOT roll over week-to-week. Each week begins on Friday and ends the following Thursday. Summer Session II dining dollars will roll over to your Fall 2026 meal plan, if enrolled. If not enrolled in a Fall 2026 meal plan, dining dollars and meal swipes will expire on the last day of your plan for that session.
MicroFridges are available for rental during both summer sessions. To reserve your MicroFridge for the summer, please contact MicroFridge once you have received your housing assignment in May.
