Important adjustments to the Transit System - Effective Monday, August 26, 2024

In the spring of 2023, Transportation & Parking Services announced an assessment, in partnership with FHI Studios, to evaluate our transportation and parking operations, policies, and procedures. Flexible Reserved Parking

Transportation & Parking Services is piloting a flexible reserved parking platform beginning May 20 through August 9, 2024. This will give faculty, staff, students, and visitors the ability to reserve and pay for parking based on their specific needs and schedules which can significantly improve the overall parking experience. TPS Assessment Update on Campus Engagement

As communicated to campus throughout spring semester, Transportation and Parking Services has partnered with FHI Studio to analyze our services, resources, and assist us in better meeting the needs of our Lehigh community. To build upon existing university-led outreach and engage with Lehigh University students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders, FHI Studio conducted a variety of campus engagements to obtain meaningful feedback on potential parking and transportation solutions/recommendations prior to implementation.

Transportation and Parking Assessment

Throughout the fall, as part of the university’s strategic planning process, we heard the challenges students, faculty, and staff have voiced with regard to transit and parking on Lehigh’s campuses. We listened to this feedback and collected additional input through focus groups and surveys. New Bus Routes Announced for Spring 2023

Transportation Services will be piloting a new transit system beginning on Monday, January 23, 2023. We have listened to the questions, comments, and concerns received this past fall and through the strategic planning process. Fall 2021 Commuter Survey

In Fall 2021, the Office of Sustainability in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Research and Strategic Analytics administered a Lehigh Commuter Survey to all current students, faculty, and staff. The Commuter Survey provides key insights into commuting habits, parking zone preferences, as well as views on incentives to change behavior.
