Student Parking Permits for Academic Year

2026-2027

 

2026-27 academic year parking permits for on-campus and off-campus student residents, including those residing in Southside Commons, will be available for purchase online, beginning at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

Fraternity and sorority residential permits will be available for purchase online beginning at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, July 29, 2026

Please note: Due to planned construction on campus, Asa Packer Residential parking will be significantly reduced, along with the number of permits available for purchase. As a reminder, all permits are limited in quantity and will be available on a first come, first served basis. You may purchase your permit online at: go.lehigh.edu/parking (please login using your Lehigh username and password).

Additional Information and Changes

  • Off-campus residents who wish to purchase a residential permit must submit a request at inwait@lehigh.edu. On or after August 17, Parking Services will contact you with permit availability and next steps.
  • All permits are valid in unreserved faculty/staff spaces Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and on weekends. 
  • Residential permits, including Farrington Square Garage level 5 permits, are also valid in three designated locations at Mountaintop campus, at all times. These locations can be seen on the Mountaintop Parking Map colored in tan.
  • Fraternity and sorority members living off-campus must now obtain the proper Sayre Residential permit if they wish to park in the assigned parking lot of their fraternity/sorority for meals and meetings. Off-campus waitlist guidelines will apply to all of these members.

Please Keep In Mind

  • You MUST log in with your Lehigh Portal ID and password. Do not create an account.  
  • If your vehicle was not previously registered with Lehigh, you will be required to scan and upload a copy of your state vehicle registration. Your state vehicle registration must be included with your submission or you will NOT be able to complete your purchase and your application will not be processed. When entering your vehicle registration, do not use spaces and/or dashes.
  • Payment: We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Make sure the billing address you enter corresponds with the credit card you are using.  When entering the expiration date, please do not use spaces and/or dashes. 
  • Shipping: All orders will be shipped as orders are received. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery. All permits will be shipped at no cost via USPS. We advise that you choose to have your permit shipped to your campus or local (to Lehigh University) address, to avoid delays in receiving them. 
  • Print out your receipt and display it on your dashboard until your permit arrives.

How To Obtain A Permit

Student permits can be purchased online at: go.lehigh.edu/parking.  If you are a student purchasing a permit for yourself, please keep in mind:

  • If your vehicle was not previously registered with Lehigh, you will be required to scan and upload a copy of your state vehicle registration. Your state vehicle registration must be included with your submission or you will NOT be able to complete your purchase and your application will not be processed.
  • Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
  • Please allow 5-7 business days for delivery. All permits will be shipped USPS. Please be mindful of your correct campus mailing address when shipping to campus and where you will be residing at the time of shipment. Shipping is free!
