During the summer, Conference Services, in collaboration with Housing Services, employs approximately twenty students (high school diploma or equivalent required) in various roles. The university hosts camps and conferences with overnight guests throughout the season, and summer staff play a key role in supporting these events.
Responsibilities include assisting with conferences, renovations, furniture moves, and daily tasks related to the residence halls. Staff will also handle office duties such as filing, paperwork, computer usage, preparing key packets, facilitating check-ins and check-outs, and providing guest services. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
We seek students with strong leadership skills, the ability to work well with others, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The starting hourly rate is $14.00.
General requirements for the above positions are as follows:
- Available to work from May through August
- Available to work weekdays (occassional weekends)
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising staff
